Off we go again, on the road following a successful four game stretch at home. It feels like ages ago now, but our last two away games didn't go too badly either don't forget, with victories over Colchester and Hartlepool respectively.
Now comes the real test; a trip to the fancy leisure centre that is the Keepmoat to face high-flying Doncaster Rovers.
You know when you go to games and after ten minutes you start to get very worried that the players might go and do a Coventry... then out of nowhere they wake up and go goal mental?
Well, that. That's what happened on Saturday.
This week: Everyone was so happy after the cup wins, but you just knew it couldn't last. The Niis desperately try to keep upbeat though, and there's still a lot of joy about the penalty redemption against Sheffield Utd. But obviously with the latest statements from ACL and the club, there's some important stuff to talk about.
Contains financial natterings.
I tell you now, in the context of our season (and whilst doing my best Kevin Keegan impression) - this is still a massive game for us, and I would love it if we won.
So, which team is going to have the nerve to ruin our fun?
Hello again, Sheffield United - quite possibly the best team in League One. Bit of a nuisance, but let's power through.
Attention all Coventry City fans with eyes (and any Colchester fans or staff for that matter). The flag you see above made the long trip with its owners to the Colchester Community Stadium last week... and never made it home. Needless to say, they are very worried.
This week: The Sky Blues have won two on the bounce and everyone's over the moon (even more so than usual). To help discuss these wins, the Niis have recruited some special guests who made the admirable trek to Hartlepool and Colchester, respectively.
Contains the occasional Dalek sound. Do not be alarmed.
