Friends, supporters, gits. I address you today not only as a Football Blogging Awards aspirant, but as a Football Blogging Awards nominee.
That's right, your sterling efforts during the nomination phase have seen both Sky Blues Blog and the Nii Lamptey Show rewarded for a shameless month of self-promotion with places on the shortlist for best Club blog and Podcast, respectively. I couldn't be more thrilled.
Apologies for the title trickery, pals. You may already know (as I haven't shut up about it), after 4 years, 400 posts, 200k views and 14 million swear words, this blog is on the cusp of receiving some recognition.
On 21 November I trek up to the National Football Museum in Manchester as nominee in The Best Football Club Blog category at the Football Blogging awards.
Voting closes on 17 November, so that's 6 more days to have a ruddy good go at getting Sky Blues Blog over the line and in turning helping Coventry City pick up their first bit of silverware this season.
Readers, tweeters, swearers, Onye-bashers, weepers, Keogh-worshippers, Linnell-dismissers, Thorn-cuddlers, angels, chaps, swines and pals. Why not give Sky Blues Blog a vote in the Football Blogging Awards?
